We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in PHP, HTML5, CSS, Javascript and jQuery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of web development and be able to create robust, scalable web applications using modern web technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance software applications for local MOE schools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy web applications
- Write clean, well-designed code using best software development practices
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Develop responsive frontend applications using HTML5, CSS, and Javascript
- Implement frontend designs using jQuery
- Develop server-side logic using PHP and Laravel framework
- Develop RESTful APIs for integration with third-party applications
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
- Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
Requirements:
- Singaporean or PR
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in web development
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, Javascript and jQuery
- Proficient in Laravel framework
- Experience in VueJS is a plus
- Experience in Linux Administration is a plus
- Experience in AWS or GCP is a plus
- Strong knowledge of database design and development (MySQL)
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Ability to write clean, well-structured code
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work well independently in remote environment and as part of a team
